Muslin is a cotton fabric of plain weave made of 100% cotton. It is a versatile, multi-purpose cloth used in dressmaking, clothing, upholstery, curtains and sewing patterns. It can also be used as the backing or lining for quilts. Muslin is a great fabric to be used for making test garments before more expensive fabric is used. Our natural muslin is available in two different weights: 4 ounces (lightweight) and 10 ounces (medium weight). Our white muslin is only available in 4 ounces. The bolt size of the natural canvas is 100 yards, when ordering more than 100 yards the fabric will come in multiple cuts.
